LA INUNDACI\u00d3N DE\u00a0LA CALLE FUENTE NUEVA<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Cazorla y el agua han vivido hist\u00f3ricamente asociadas. Multitud de calles en Cazorla se crearon en las diferentes regueras y acequias de los torrentes de la ladera sobre la que se construye, citando algunos ejemplos: Calle Fuente de la Pe\u00f1a, Callej\u00f3n del Rio, Calle de la Pileta, Calle de los Trancos, Collazos o Calle Fuente Nueva.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 En esta \u00faltima calle se vivi\u00f3 una de las partes m\u00e1s negativas de esta simbiosis. Tenemos constancia de una riada en el a\u00f1o 1921, que, sumado a la despoblaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles que sufr\u00eda la Pe\u00f1a de los Halcones y el arroyo del Herr\u00f3n, en el final de la calle Fuente Nueva, caus\u00f3 un fuerte arrastre de rocas y sedimentos que inundaron la calle y la cegaron, llegando hasta el Balc\u00f3n de Zabaleta.<\/em><\/p>\n
